The Castle Tavern was recently taken over by experienced publican husband and wife team, Vicky and Steve Linch. Together they have created a relaxed and welcoming dining experience, with a mouth-watering menu of locally sourced, homecooked food, all prepared by accomplished Chef, Steve.

In the evenings, the popular bar has a busy and upbeat feel, regularly hosting a variety of live music entertainment. 

The Castle also boasts five, newly renovated boutique ensuite guestrooms - with two rooms enjoying the stunning views of both the town’s beautiful market square and Richmond’s iconic Castle. 

The Castle has several different seating areas, and are able to cater for any occasion, no party is too small! The combination of a glowing open fireplace, delicious homecooked food and Yorkshire’s finest Real Ale gives the Castle it’s winning formula – on a plate and in a glass.
